Nile Street Dental Practice has been established for over 90 years. It is based in the Heart of London, only a 5 minute walk from Old Street Underground station.
About Us
The team comprises of four experienced dentists, one hygienist, two dental nurses and one receptionist. Our enthusiastic staff are passionate about what they do and provide patients with a great experience.
Our team aims to work to the highest of standards and always tries to meet our patient’s individual expectations, delivering exceptional care.
We welcome nervous or anxious patients, with our staff taking time to listen to all our patient’s needs and concerns. Together we formulate a treatment plan which suits each individual patient, meeting their expectations. Our treatments will be explained to you every step of the way.
Our Team
ABIDA HIRJI
Dentist
Since qualifying from King’s College London in 2011 with BDS (Hons), Abida has worked in general practice. Her interests are in restorative and aesthetic dentistry, and she completed a MJDF qualification in 2012 and a certificate in Restorative Dental Practice at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute in 2015.
Abida has also undertaken a course in cosmetic tooth alignment and is able to carry out simple orthodontic cases.
When not treating her patients, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, playing tennis, yoga and travelling.
BHAVINI VADHWANA
Dentist
Bhavini graduated from Kings College, London in 2011 and completed her dental foundation training in London. She has gained her MJDF with the Royal College of Surgeons in 2012 and enjoys providing all aspects of general dentistry.
Bhavini has a keen interest in cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry and has completed a number of courses to be able to provide a range of treatment options for her patients to meets their individual needs. Bhavini has completed courses in cosmetic orthodontics using the Cfast, QST and SmileTru systems and can provide her patients with the most appropriate treatment tailored to them. She has completed a one year course in Aesthetic Dentistry achieving a Distinction at the world renowned Eastman Dental Institute.
Bhavini aims to use the latest techniques in minimally invasive dentistry and continues to update her skills in cosmetic dentistry to provide high quality outcomes for her patients. She is also committed to helping nervous patients overcome their fear.
Outside of dentistry she enjoys travelling and spending time with her family and friends.
KHUSHBOO JAIN
Dentist
Khushy qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2017 and completed her dental vocational training in Leicester. She has completed Part I of MJDF and will soon be completing Part II in the coming months.
Khushy takes pride in being able to calm the most nervous of patients and in creating a relaxed and welcoming environment. She ensures that she always works with her patient’s best interest at heart by providing an honest and strategic approach to her treatment planning. She also enjoys educating patients about preventing oral diseases as prevention is always better than the cure.
By continually attending CPD courses, she ensures that her skills and knowledge are repeatedly refreshed and updated so that she can provide expert, safe and ethical treatment to all her patients. At present, Khushy is on the path of studying to become an Invisalign provider and completing a course in aesthetic restorative dentistry.
Outside of dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, painting and travelling.
